 Accord Party  Disown Ondo Disowns, Expel Ondo Governorship Candidate

Accord Party(AP) in Ondo State,has stated that it did not field any candidate  for the last gubernatorial election in Ondo state as claimed by  Mr Olawale Ojo, who claims to be the candidate of the party

The Chairman of the party in the state, Dr Ajibola Falaiye, announce the suspension of Mr Olawale Ojo  from the party invoked article 14 verse 3 of the party's constitution, said they took the action to save the state, democracy and the nation from persons like Ojo who never filed nomination paper as governorship candidate of the party but had been parading himself as such.

Addressing reporters in Akure recenttly, Falaiye said the self-acclaimed governorship candidate of the party has ceased to be a member of the party with the expulsion.

Falaiye, who was accompanied  by the National Vice Chairman of the party, Prince Ojo Kayode, his counterpart in Lagos, Mobolaji Olugbodi and other leaders of the party in the state, said the party did not field any governorship candidate in the last election in the state.

The party chairman said the supposed party's candidate was only interested in being candidate in order to create problem within the polity. He said he has succeeded to some extent by allegedly getting financial graft from the enemies of the party.
